As the saying goes, money makes the world go round. Our entire society revolves around how much money we make. For decades, that was conceived to be how much cash you had in your wallet, and how many coins were in your piggy bank.

 

However, as of late, we’ve seen the usage of cash and coins gradually decrease year by year, to the point where we have adjusted by phasing out the usage of physical currency. But why is this the case?
